Land administration reforms are symbiotic with improved land management. Improvements to land records and maps provides government planners with the information and tools to better plan for growth in housing, infrastructure and services and to better manage existing land use.
LEI are experienced in supporting governments to develop strategies and standard operating procedures which govern the allocation, use and development of land resources. We work closely with local government counterparts and community stakeholders to develop clear land management guidelines and capacity in areas such as land use planning, development control, issuance of permits, land dispute settlement, environment protection and collection of land taxes.
