Land Equity International (LEI) has a 25-year history in successfully delivering international development projects for and providing technical advice to donors around the world, including the World Bank and the UK’s Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), and direct to government. We deeply engage and continuously consult with counterpart agencies to manage demands and expectations that ensure sustained results. Our team has a 35-year history in Indonesia, with LEI’s founders being engaged in land administration and mapping projects since 1991.
Through the Integrated Land Administration and Spatial Planning Project (ILASPP), Indonesia’s national mapping agency, Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG), is contracting private companies to producing high-quality base maps at multiple scales for climate action, spatial planning, and national development.
The quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) services will support Component 4 of ILASPP, which encompasses:
This is a 4-year project requiring rigorous quality oversight on behalf of BIG to ensure accurate geospatial data delivery across Indonesia.
LEI will be bidding to provide quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) services to maintain the quality and timely delivery of urban and non-urban data capture for ILASPP. LEI will act on behalf of BIG throughout the project, coordinating the activities of BIG and private Service Providers in capturing and processing data according to strict specified conditions and standards. Data will be acquired throughout Indonesia and processed in a number of Map Processing Centres established by BIG. The work duration is expected between 2026-2029.
We are looking for an experienced Geospatial Quality Control Professional, who can lead and manage the large-scale QA/QC services. Their main duties will include:
